Cory Bishop Drain District Boundary Determination

PROJECT PROFILE

Client: The Office of the Ottawa County Water Resources Commissioner

Project Cost: $6,000

With development comes subdivisions, roads, grade changes, and lakes. As technology advances, better contour and mapping data is available. With these changes it became apparent to the Office of the Ottawa County Water Resources Commissioner that the Cory Bishop County Drain District boundary was no longer accurate. Drain district boundaries are used to determine who pays for improvements and maintenance completed within the drainage course. The Ottawa County Water Resources Commissioner hired Vriesman & Korhorn to provide an updated boundary determination of the Cory Bishop Drain and revise the apportionment calculations for all properties located in the Drain District.
